Introduction

The award of Life Membership is the highest honour the Western Rangers Football Club can bestow on an individual and is done so in recognition of a member who has made an extraordinary contribution to the Club over a number of years that is above and beyond what is expected of any member.

Policy

The Western Rangers Football Club may bestow Life Membership on an individual who demonstrates constant commitment to the Club’s purpose and values. The Life Member will have given an extraordinary contribution in areas of club involvement such as a coach, administrator, volunteer, player or in other positions. There shall be a maximum of three Life Member awarded by the club in any given financial year of the club. There is no minimum requirement to be awarded in any given financial year

Guidelines for Nominations

It is expected that the recipient has made an extraordinary contribution to the club in some or all the following areas -

• Significant Volunteer (20 years or more)

• Senior Player (20 years or more)

• Member (20 years or more)

• Club Committee

• Team Coach Seniors or Juniors

• Team Manager Seniors or Juniors

How to Nominate

Nominations are now open for Life Membership, any Club Member from the Senior or Junior Club can nominate someone for Life Membership. This must be done through completing a nomination form (see drop down box to the right) and either emailing to the Club - westernrangershb@gmail.com or handing to the Club President.
